Solar Panels attract photovoltaic uv rays from the suns and generate DC voltage, it is then converted to AC voltage which is what our Energy Grid operates at via an Inverter. Your household draws said power from the Inverter and runs your household utilities. Any remaining production from the Solar Panels will be fed back into the Grid via tariff obtaining credits from your energy retailer.
